Gamatronic 's Focus on Data Centers
Gamatronic Electronic Industries LTD has been monitoring high-energy consumption of data center equipment. As IT suppliers push for more speed and processing power in an ever-reducing footprint, energy usage required to cool and power those devices can only increase. Industry standards for high availability data centers dictate redundancy and 2N design from the power source, which means introducing more power hungry systems to the grid. At the same time, data centers are striving themselves to meet a PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of 1.5 – 1.75.
How can data centers be effective in meeting SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and yet be energy efficient?
Gamatronic of Israel has introduced a 3-phase modular UPS system that has a high efficiency in a compact footprint that is no bigger than an IT rack. The strength of a modular system is its power scalability that can effectively grow with the power demands of the user. During the exhibition, Gamatronic will highlight the finer points of its unique concepts and will explain how having high power availability can mean a greener earth at the same time.
