As we do each year in November, Gamatronic facilities welcomed guests to its Annual Autumn Technical Seminar. Gamatronic existing partners from all over the world gathered to receive updates of the last technology news and new partners that attended were trained on our leading product, the Power+ Modular System.

Gamatronic is now supplying Power Back-up to dozens of schools in Africa. As part of this ongoing program, Gamatronic’s uPS-SP 20KVA 3/3 UPSs will be installed in December throughout North Ghana.
Gamatronic UK has received its first order for hundreds of 10KVA Power+ Marine developed UPS systems. This is part of a roll out program totaling 750 systems. In this case, the end-user specifically chose Gamatronic Power+ for this environment due to the simplicity involved with swapping out units. The Power+ is ideally suited to this end-user because the vessels on which these Power+ units are located could be anywhere in the world. This makes it extremely difficult to effect a repair when dealing with an untrained engineer working over a telephone connection. The fact that Power+ is ideally suited to a straight swap out makes it the optimal product for this environment.
Another advantage was that the Power+ modules weigh only 9 kgs and require the smallest footprints, another major benefit for a unit that is onboard a ship.
Gamatronic's partner in Bolivia has won a project to upgrade ENTEL (the main local telecom operator) VSAT Hub and 600 remote VSAT terminals. As part of the upgrade, these locations will migrate to the IP communication protocol.
These terminals are extremely important as they are responsible for providing public telephony services to rural areas. With this latest Gamatronic upgrade, they will now be able to provide Internet services as well.
As a part of the entire energy solution, Gamatronic's GNET 1KVA UPSs will be installed in each location. In addition, a Power+ 30KVA together with a G4 will back up the main hub in Santa Cruz.
Gamatronic's provided a 4-day seminar dedicated to our Control & Management products for ICE company. More than three hundred Gamatronic Power Systems are presently installed and working in the field, controlled and monitored by GEMSi (Gamatronic Element Management Software) software. Current plans include expanding the infrastructure to include 1000 sites to be controlled by one GEMSi.
